WitWorx is a mobile comedy-writing app that helps users generate jokes, speech jokes, and related creative text. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how users can contact us.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as email address, display name, and authentication identifiers when you sign in.
- App activity needed to operate the service, including joke generation counts, favorites, and saved app preferences.
- Text you submit to generate jokes or speech material, such as topics, prompts, summaries, and include or exclude instructions.
- Audio data only when you choose to use voice input. Audio may be transcribed so the app can process your request.
- Technical information such as device, app, and usage data provided by Firebase, Expo, Google Play, Apple, or similar platform services.
How We Use Information
- To provide joke generation, speech joke generation, saved favorites, usage limits, account access, and app support.
- To improve stability, security, performance, and user experience.
- To respond to support requests and account deletion requests.
- To detect misuse, fraud, abuse, or activity that may harm the service or other users.
Third-Party Services
WitWorx may use service providers including Firebase, Google Cloud, Expo, Google Play, Apple App Store, and AI model providers to operate the app. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Mobile Pricing
WitWorx mobile offers a generous free tier and an optional one-time Premium unlock through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Premium is a non-consumable purchase, not a subscription. The current mobile release does not contain advertising, affiliate links, or referral tracking.
In-App Purchases
Premium purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive purchase confirmation and product identifiers needed to unlock Premium features on your device. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Data Retention
We keep account and app data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You can request account deletion using the delete account page linked below.
Children
WitWorx is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
